SURYA TO LAUNCH HYPER-DURABLE BELLA-DURA® OUTDOOR RUG COLLECTION AT HIGH POINT MARKET
CARTERSVILLE, Ga. — At High Point Market, Surya will introduce a new line of indoor-outdoor rugs in partnership with the high-performance fabric manufacturer Bella-Dura®. Constructed with Bella-Dura® solution dyed polyolefin, the Maritime rug collection offers exceptional durability, ideal for residential and commercial spaces.
“This is not your typical run-of-the-mill polyolefin,” said Susan Lobel, vice president of marketing and brand development at Bella-Dura®. “Our fiber has been infused with silver ion technology, making it anti-bacterial and mildew-resistant, and has also been engineered to offer greater UV-protection than typical materials. This allows Bella-Dura® polyolefin to stand apart from other fibers and finishes.”
The Maritime collection includes 15 hand-woven, outdoor-safe rugs that are inherently bleach cleanable, stain, pill, and microbe resistant with the ability to endure over 1,500 hours of direct sunlight without fading. Additionally, the Maritime collection is fully sustainable, crafted with the only fiber on the market, synthetic or natural, that begins as a by-product and ends its life as a fully recyclable product. “We designed the Maritime collection with designers, decorative wholesalers, hotels, and cruise lines in mind,” said Lynne Meredith, vice president of product development at Surya.
